WHAT WE HANDLE

The Repairs That Fall Between Trades

Every facility has a running list of small jobs that are too minor for a specialty contractor and too involved for staff to handle. Facilities Management takes that list. Our technicians are already on site for equipment service, so handyman work can often be scheduled on the same visit.

Facility Services

  • Backflow repair and annual backflow testing
  • Minor plumbing, faucets, valves, drains, water lines, and fixture replacement
  • Minor electrical, outlets, switches, lighting, and ballast replacement
  • Doors, closers, locks, panic hardware, and door sweeps
  • Shelving, casework, wall protection, and equipment mounting
  • Drywall patching, painting, and general surface repair
  • Floor drains, floor tile, and threshold repair
  • Restroom fixtures, partitions, and accessories

How Handyman Service Works

From your first call to a completed punch list, here’s what to expect.

Call or Request Online

Contact us by phone or submit a request online with your list of items. Photos help us bring the right parts the first time.

We Scope the Work

We review your list, flag anything that needs a licensed trade or a permit, and confirm what we can handle.

Scheduled Visit

A technician arrives with the tools and common parts to work through the list in a single visit wherever possible.

Documented & Followed Up

Completed work gets documented item by item, and anything needing a return visit or a specialty trade is called out clearly.

One Vendor, One Invoice

Equipment service and handyman work land on the same account, the same visit, and the same invoice.

Backflow Repair & Testing

Certified backflow repair and annual testing, documented for your compliance records.

Technicians Who Know Your Site

The same team that services your equipment handles the punch list, so nothing has to be explained twice.

Scheduled Around Your Operation

Work gets scheduled off peak wherever possible, so it stays out of the way of your day to day service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Handyman Services FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most about handyman work.

What counts as handyman work versus a licensed trade?

General repairs, fixture replacement, and minor plumbing or electrical are handyman work. Anything requiring a permit, new circuits, or new supply lines goes to the appropriate licensed trade, and we’ll tell you which is which before we start.

Do you perform backflow testing?

Yes. We perform backflow repair and annual backflow testing, and provide the documentation you need for compliance.

Can handyman work be done on the same visit as equipment service?

In most cases, yes. Combining the two on one visit is usually the cheapest way to handle a punch list.

Is there a minimum job size?

[NEED: minimum charge, trip charge, or hourly minimum, confirm with the center before this goes live.]

What areas do you cover for handyman work?

Handyman service follows our equipment service footprint across Indiana and southern Michigan.
